Windows Phone Mobile VR Update

less than 1 minute read

Its over a year now since I published these two blog posts:

Windows Phone Mobile VR (Gyro Head Tracking in Unity3D) Windows Phone Mobile VR (Stereoscopic Rendering + Lens Distortion in Unity 3D)

which discussed some introductory topics around mobile virtual reality; head tracking and stereoscopic rendering and demonstrated a way to create VR experiences using Windows Phone, ALPS-VR and a ViSR ‘cardboard’ headset.

I wanted to update here with some links and info around Windows Phone mobile VR:

Jason Fox, a colleague at Microsoft followed these up with a great post on Getting started with VR for Windows Phone
